Country Club Wedding Featured on Contemporary Weddings

Caitlin + Matt | Fiddler’s Elbow Country Club| Month of Coordination

Caitlin and Matt’s romantic wedding at Fiddler’s Elbow Country Club was a special one for us. For one, this Country Club is one of our favorite venues to work with. They have an amazing staff, beautiful grounds, and a stunning ballroom. But their wedding also marked the 30th event of my company! Over the past five years we have worked with some of the best couples and businesses to create spectacular events. I am so happy Caitlin and Matt’s wedding helped us hit that milestone and wrap up our 2018 season.

The first meeting between Caitlin and Matt doesn’t start with meeting at a bar or through a mutual friend. It just happened to be at the right place at the right time. Matt was hanging out with friends on the patio of his house in Hoboken next to where Caitlin and her family were celebrating her Goddaughters Baptism. A friend of Caitlin’s saw Matt and struck up a conversation with him, realizing that this was the perfect guy for Caitlin. Although nervous, Caitlin went over to talk to Matt and was invited to come hang out after her party was over. She did and was then invited to come out with Matt and his friends that night. Thankfully Matt successfully convinced Caitlin to come and the rest is history!

The Proposal

After settling in at their hotel in St. Lucia they headed down to the beach to grab a drink and enjoy the sunset before dinner. Unfortunately when they arrived at the beach the bar was closed so they decided to take a walk down the beach instead. After a short time walking Matt got on his knee and proposed to Caitlin. With their own little secret, they enjoyed a relaxing week just the two of them before sharing the news with family and friends when they arrived home.

The Wedding

I always love when couples choose the spot for their wedding that has some sort of meaning to them. For Caitlin and Matt, Fiddler’s Elbow Country Club has a lot of significance to them. Matt’s family founded Fiddler’s Elbow Country Club and continues to run it today. I enjoyed seeing all the staff there taking pride in making this a spectacular wedding for one of their own! This wedding is a classic, rustic, and nature inspired filled with candlelight and greenery. I brought Cassandra Shah on board to help us bring this vision to life and that is just what she did! We worked together to make this just what Caitlin and Matt had envisioned.
